Abortion, with love is a podcast that aims to hold space for conversations to be had about abortion, illuminate its complex layers, and honour the experiences of people all over the world fighting for reproductive justice. I hope that through these conversations, we can reshape the story of abortion to be a story about love.
Abortion, with love is a project started by Camila Ochoa Mendoza in December, 2020. It came from a desire to find spaces where abortion could be talked about openly and from the heart. The podcast is a love letter to the abortion community, who are changing the world with so much grace. It’s a call for action to those who never considered the role that abortion plays in their lives. It’s a manifesto, a dream towards a world where abortion is celebrated and where people who have abortions are cared for and loved.

Hi, I’m Camila, a culturally confused Venezuelan living in Sweden, where I work as an abortion doula and consultant for all things abortion. When I’m not talking about abortion, I’m likely cooking, reading, or taking bike rides to the sea.
